The High School Hikers  – Environmental Conservation Opportunity Program
(HSH-ECO)

I’m selling a photo calendar as a fundraiser for my High School Hikers – Environmental Conservation Opportunity program (HSH-ECO).  All proceeds from sales will be donated to the HSH-ECO.

So what is this HSH-ECO you wonder?  Well, it is currently a group of 4 high school students who applied and were selected to participate in this Environmental Conservation Opportunity.  For the next 6-7 months, these students will participate in Ecology Camp with HSH, service projects involving removing invasive species from Mt. Kaala and Makaha Valley, trail building/clearing with the Na Ala Hele Program, educational hikes, workshop involving navigation and orientation and fire building, and then at the end of this program, these students will participate in a week long service trip to the Big Island and exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

So how much are the calendars?  I’m trying to find a cheaper printing place, currently the price is $10 ($2 profit).  If I can find a less expensive calendar printing place or if you know of any please let me know.  If you want your calendar mailed within the U.S., please include $1.75 per calendar for shipping cost.  I’m willing to arrange pick-up or drop-off on Oahu.

I’ve attached a collage of the photos that will be included in the calendar (same photos in calendar at the last staff meeting auction).

I accept checks payable to High School Hikers Program . Please include on check: “for ECO program”.  Please email me at jamietanino@gmail.com if you are ordering with the quantity by December 5th.  Please send payment to:

HSH-ECO Program
PO Box 2577
Honolulu, HI 96803

Makes great gifts!  I’ll still accept orders after Dec. 5th, although I may not be able to get the calendar to you before December 25th.

Mahalo for your support,
Jamie Tanino
